Safe Pleasanton

Pleasanton consistently ranks among the top 50 safest cities in California. I want to continue
to maintain the high safety standards for all homes, streets, parks and open space. As a
council member, I will support initiatives that continue to provide the sufficient resources and
equipment to law-enforcement, fire safety, and emergency services units to ensure the
continued well-being of our community.

Sustainable Pleasanton

Pleasanton recently adopted the Climate Action Plan (CAP2.0) which aims to significantly
reduce greenhouse gas emissions and achieve carbon neutrality by 2045. As one of the
main contributors to the plan, as a councilmember, I will work to ensure that the plan is
executed as planned. I will collaborate with Zone 7 leaders to protect our safe drinking water
and with tri-valley partner cities to ensure our collective environment remains healthy.

Strengthening the city-school partnership

As the father of two Pleasanton Unified School District students, and an active member of the School Site Council at Harvest Park Middle School, I know that maintaining our excellent quality schools makes us a stronger community. I will work collaboratively with our school officials and other parents to strengthen the city-school partnership.

Fiscal Stability

As a manager in a large global corporation, I have led multi-million-dollar projects and businesses, and worked with many people to find positive solutions forward. I will use my professional leadership and business experience to make certain the city stays on a fiscally sustainable path.

No matter the issue at hand, my guiding principles will be to LISTEN and COLLABORATE: listen to you and your concerns, and collaborate with local leaders and experts in our community to find the best solutions for Pleasanton.
